I create artwork for a lot of reasons— self expression, meditation, practice, study, and (SOMETIMES) because someone pays me to. There is nothing else I would rather do for a living than make marks on paper and wood with pens, pencils, and brushes. 

 

 

I have 6 years of professional design experience, working with local small businesses and not-for-profits  to create custom website elements, graphics, and logos.

 

 

i have entirely too many interests to pin down an easily memorized "elevator speech" to explain what i do and why i do it.

i get a great deal of enjoyment from learning a new craft. i'm a bit of a "jill of all trades," but my goal is to become a master of as many trades as i can. I feel that more often than not, a new skill or ability informs all the others under my belt, making each one take on a more complex flavor.

 

as an artist, i have a special affinity for creating artwork that celebrates the beauty of nature—in all its manifestations.

I am also a musician, and recently began playing music with a friend of mine. We formed a two-piece band called Mama's homemade and have been playing around Indiana since fall of '18. If you're at all interested in checking that out, you can find us on instagram, youtube, and facebook.

i live in central indiana with my husband, two young sons, and more pets than a sane person should have.
